Individual loan

Library holdings that are not loaned: Individual loans of reference books - dictionaries, encyclopedias, periodicals, audio-visual materials, multimedia, and work tools - are not permitted.

Group loan

The Egyptian Public Library is unique in providing the group loan service, which is a free service provided by the library to government schools, agencies and institutions. The service is provided for an amount of 40 pounds to foreign schools. Delay

Reserve books

A member of the main library or branch can reserve the book that he was unable to borrow because it was loaned to another member. This is done from within the library or through the library’s catalog website, and the book reserve is notified immediately upon returning the book to the library by phone or by SMS on the phone. If a book is lost; The member is obligated to bring a recent copy of the lost book or pay its price according to the library’s discretion. In both cases, he will also pay 20% administrative expenses for each book
