Subscription system
The library accepts all segments of society, males and females, of various professions and ages, for membership, starting from three years. The member enjoys all the services provided by the library. Membership is individual or family, and all membership applications are submitted to the subscriptions department on the ground floor.
Subscription form:
Payment from the library in exchange for payment of 1.5 pounds.
Paperwork:
Photograph.
A copy of the birth certificate and a copy of the guardian’s national ID card (for children and youth under 18 years old, with the guardian’s signature on the subscription application).
Subscription for children and young people under 8 years old requires the father or mother to participate and accompany them to the library.
A copy of the national ID card for adults over 18 years old.
Non-Egyptians:
Photograph.
A copy of the passport in addition to a copy of the residence permit for non-Egyptians.
Non-Egyptians without residency for at least one year do not enjoy the external loan service.

Lost membership card:
In the event that the membership card is lost, the member fills out a membership form worth 1.5 pounds and pays the value of obtaining a replacement card for the lost one, 5 pounds, and the membership card is received immediately.
Elderly people over 60 years old:
The library takes care of the elderly (over sixty years of age) and welcomes them, and reduced the value of library membership for them to 25 pounds.
There is a 25% discount on family subscription.
Collectibles
. Collections are developed based on a written and approved policy that meets the needs of members and is consistent with the library’s objectives.
. Adult books represent about 43% of total collections, and children's books represent about 57%.
The number of holdings in the main library is about (140,000) cultural items, and about (40,000) cultural items in the Olive Branch. (100,000) cultural materials in Al-Zawia Al-Hamra branch.
